I know a few Dem friends who are, but I have a lot more Rep friends on that side. One of my conservative friends complaint was that babies these days get 30-40 shots in the first year or so. I don't know if that is true, but it does seem like a lot. One could always try a good ole fashioned polio epidemic to sort ones priorities out...

Another ignorant statement. Republicans and Democrats are about the same in their beliefs on this topic. The difference is likely about personal freedom. Democrats, being idiots, tend to be willing to cede the raising of their children to the community You know, "It takes a Village" nonsense. Thing is, if you're a parent and you've had a child with ASD, many are going to say, "Hell, no. My second child isn't getting unnecessary vaccines." And I don't blame them. I talk with many parents of autistic children, and it is a hot topic and it has little to do with political leanings. It probably has more to do with whether you know of children who are teenagers and still can't speak or bathe themselves, or may choose to strip naked at school, or any number of other more serious issues. My daughter sits on the Board of a non-profit serving autistic children and knows hundreds of families of kids with ASD. It is so not about politics.
