The method is indeed admirable. The conclusions are either wise and true or they are not, which is something not to over look.

Epictetus

Things that are up to us are by nature free, unhindered, and unimpeded, where as things that are not up to us are naturally enslaved, hindered, and not our own. But if you think that things that are naturally enslaved, things that are not up to you, are your own, if you think things naturally enslaved are free, or that things that are not your own are your own, you will be thwarted, miserable, upset ..." and walking around blaming the world for everything that's going wrong with you.

The mistake of confusing that which you have control and that over which you lack control leads to thwarted, upset, miserable, blamingness.

"Theoretically, planning may be good. But nobody has ever figured out the cause of government stupidity—and until they do (and find the cure), all ideal plans will fall into quicksand." - Richard P. Feynman

Do you agree with Feynman? Or you think he is a right wing idiot?
