I'm sure about what I've read which is that since the 1700s we have put about 300-350 Billion Tons of CO2 into the air from fossil fuels and cement production. So, no, I don't think it is trillions of tons. Today, we are putting 1/10 that amount a year into the air but that is mostly from the industrialization of of China and India, I believe. And it is going to get a lot worse before it gets any better. You can count on that. And the US can't do a damned thing to stop it and probably not to slow it down.

We have seen that the so-called "Green Technology Boom" was a bust. Total bust.

We really need to be focused on an honest determination of the consequences without the political and religious nonsense. So we can start to develop sensible, affordable reforms that will address it if it does turn out to be a problem. I will oppose the spending of one nickel by giving it businesses (winners and losers) or to universities who have their minds made up. Because there is no enough information for anyone to have their mind made up.
