Cox and CBS had a similar disagreement... it only lasted a day... Time Warner also had a several week/month outage of all CBS-owned channels... I believe this sort of this is common to all CATV (or other non-local tv systems be they cable or satellite)... ESPN started the trend some years ago and forced all cable and satellite providers to fork over extra money... other "content providers" are trying to get their piece of the pie now that "traditional" network TV is going the way of the dodo bird.
