You say I was one of the most vocal proponents of not voting for third-party candidates and voting for Hillary and I agree. I was so vocal several liberals attacked me. So what did anyone get voting for Stein, or Johnson? So when you ask me what went wrong, it seems to me you answered your own question right out of the chute. I advocated people vote for Hillary and they didn't. That is what went wrong. I always felt it was stone cold nuts for any normal sane person to do anything but vote for Hillary after Trump was nominated. Two primary variables got Trump elected, IMO. One of course was the silly liberals that voted for Stein, or even supported her. And the same people on the right, if there are any, that felt they were making some statement by not voting for Trump, but voting for some other third-party candidate, which was actually another vote for Trump. I guess that concept was too complicated for them? And those that stayed at home. All of them carry some of the blame for this Trump presidency. But I also blame Obama for appointing a rabid Republican right wing FBI agent and not getting out there vigorously with the fact that Russia was hacking our systems. I have no understanding of what he was doing, except that it was just another extension of the no drama Obama, which I think is going to unfortunately end up being his legacy and will not treat him kindly e.g. the destruction of the Democratic Party under his reign. The fact that we just voted in the village idiot who is also a hard-core con man and sociopath and an ill wind is going to be just disastrous. I ask the people that voted for him and supported him if they are cheering the fact that he intends to overturn Obamacare right out of the gate. As ill formed as it is, it is still better than throwing the people back to the insurance company wolves. And will the right-wingers cheer when they start to overturn Medicare and make it a voucher system and give Social Security to Wall Street? Donald Trump intends to lay waste to our social system that has been developed over a hundred years, and a lot of it is going to be nothing but simple spite and revenge. E.g. I think he is going to crush Obamacare, as a symbol of him crushing Obama.
