I'd say that that's a result of wealthy (R) billionaires like the Koch's buying states for (R)'s that turn around and provide them with accommodating state policies. The (D)'s have nothing like that, but they need to start doing it soon. They have friendly billionaires of their own, but they don't do that.

Hillary tried to run on Obama's
coat tails, but didn't address the issues that concerned the working class. She never even made a trip to Wisconsin and dogmatically assumed she would carry the State.
Trump was a master at appealing to issues that concerned voters. Kudos to Trump for at least confronting the issues that concerned the working class. He at least offered pie in the sky solutions. Hillary offered nothing, not even dialogue.
I am not sure this is a move to the Right. I think it is more incompetency on the Clinton team and it's failure to truly confront the concerns of the working class.
Bottom Line: Hillary ran a very bad campaign with very little, if any, substance.
Do we really know what Hillary stood for outside of a continuation of most of Obama's policies.
