You seriously doubt Comey's antics didn't swing a fraction of 1% in three particular states?

But that said, I agree completely the Dems need to reevaluate what they have to offer to voters. Unfortunately, it remains the case that a large block of Rep voters are nuts. Trying to appeal to nuts is not wise for the Dems either IMHO.

Steve, this and other of your posts frequently remind me of Aristotle. He once remarked that one characteristic of a highly intelligent person is the "ability to entertain an idea without embracing it".
Thus it is that you can recognize the appeal of certain of Trump policies without embracing him as a
candidate.
