Hi Jbog,
Would you please repost your 2017 stock picks on the 2017 Contest board.
Subject 59795
As for CVRs, what I’ve done over the years depended on whether the CVR was publicly traded. If publicly traded, I’d put the CVR shares in the Contest portfolio. If not, as was the case for TBRA, I assumed the stock was sold at the final trading day’s close. That was 10/31/16 for TBRA, with the closing price being $42.09, and I then reallocated the proceeds to the Contestants’ other portfolio stocks.
Congrats again on your 2016 portfolio performance!
All the best for 2017!
Peace & good health,
Bulba

I didn't have TBRA in my personal account so I can't even say what I would have done in real life - but that was such a premium I likely would have sold it. Oh man, you came on strong that last day, and if it was winning by but $75 bucks that would have been harsh. Likely given me heart failure. I hope USUBAN, the other holder of TBRA was wiser than I was and held it and made a bundle.
