When your talking Soros and Buffet etc. your talking about a far narrower group then 1%, or even 1% of 1%.

Also that narrow group also has widely diverse viewpoints. Compare Soros to the Koch brothers for example.

But 1 percent in income in the US is well under a million a year (more like half a million, probably still less, it was $429k in 2013.

Also I'm guessing most people presenting what you call "the one percent view", don't make over $429k/year.

I think a whole lot of Trump voters expect a good job due to Trump. I just don't see that in our future, other than for AI and robot engineers. So, I expect some seriously disappointed voters. To vote for Trump next time. they may need a war where they need to 'support the president'!
