So if Trump is impeached and Pence is Prez (Scarier for me than Trump by a WIDE margin) you would be please LOL Not sure what that has to do with Neandertals having not survived long enough to accomplish as much as sapiens. But I will respond to your inference. Trump is scarier in this scenario. Pence is a known quantity; Trump is wild. Pence is not different in kind, just in degree, from his bunch in Congress, more of the same, so probably wouldn't do anything that his boyz in Congress would not do under Trump. Greater calculated risk with Trump due to more avenues of opportunity for problems. [Did you know about Pence's abortion legislation--that it required burial or cremation of the product of a miscarriage--and that women started writing him to let him know about the quantity and quality of the product of their menstrual periods to assure him that no miscarriage had taken place? It would have been funny were it not so sad. I noticed that the subsequent Texas law did not require that for miscarriages, only abortions. ]
