I don't know if it is just me, but after many years it has become more difficult for me to support abortion. Because the fetus that is viable today often would not have been 20 years ago. And meanwhile, the Left pushes for abortion right up until the moment of birth. For me, it is a bridge too far.

My daughter who is currently pregnant sends modern images of her baby with every detail identified about once a month. It just makes it hard to think of abortion in the same way as before.

And for me, the fetus -- though "mere" tissue -- has begun to take on rights of its own. This is not a recent evolution for me; it has been gradually moving that direction. The fact that there are no other options for birth control -- before and after sex -- to the point that is is just inexcusable in almost all circumstances -- to consider abortion an option.

My opinion only.
