<<<< but if you like 51% or more about one party as compared to another, you go with the party that aligns>>>>

Well I don't think that is true at all. You might like 15% of what the republicans stand for and 15% of democrats and 30% of the Green Party and 40% of the Libertarian Party and yet you still might vote for the republican - or democrat. ........Additionally there are tons of people who are single issue voters. You might favor 80% of what the democrats stand for and yet still vote for the republican because you genuinely fear democrats will chip away at the 2nd amendment.

This election year has opened the eyes, ears and hearts in millions of Americans. What you liked or disliked about either party doesn't really matter anymore. Both parties have been dismantled. Two dynasties have been destroyed, one from each party, Bushs and the Clintons. Main stream media is finished. We have been manipulated and misinformed for so long. The system as a unit had the task of informing, alerting and protecting the American people but instead what we had were politicians pretending and pandering to draw votes and a money hungry media doing what's best to draw a audience for ratings. They wanted to interview Trump so that people could have a good laugh but instead they drew a audience that hanged on to everything he said.

They all got screwed..hopefully for the better.
