Me thinks republicans are backing themselves into a corner on the health care issue.

They repeal - which I expect - then what? If all those young healthy people drop health care (why wouldn't they since the penalty surely will go away when it is repealed) won't that just require even steeper insurance premium increases to make it work for the insurers? They are liable to create a complete mess..........

no one will lose health coverage after Obamacare repeal
That's not the right question.

The right question is: will anybody lose their SUBSIDIES.

It is generous subsidies for low income folks that allows them to have insurance under Obamacare. The Republicans promise to immediately repeal Obamacare taxes on high income investments that fund more than half of the subsidies. Will they keep the subsidies and increase the deficit??? If not, the promise about nobody losing their insurance is laughable.

Trump advisor Conway says no one will lose health coverage after Obamacare repeal
( Will this rebound like 'You can keep your doctor.' did on Obama? )

I would not be at all surprised if it did, but probably not to the same extent. I don't think the change will be as radical and the statement was from an advisor not from a president or president elect.

Its a pretty silly statement though. Even with no changes in national health care payment/insurance policies some people will lose their coverage, and changes will likely cause additional loses (whether or not there are net losses there will be gross losses)
