Many abortion opponents are men that feel once a woman is pregnant, it's her duty to birth 'their' seed, and raise it to adulthood. No Christianity needed.

My opinion on this issue has little to do with Christianity. Yes I identify as Christian, and specifically Catholic, but I'm not very religious, not a regular church goer, and its not like I don't feel free to disagree with the church, or the Pope in numerous ways.

My opinion on abortion has nothing to do with "because God says so", or "because the church says so", but rather in protecting human lives.
