There's one problem that throws out your argument.

At the time most of us were mad that we were going to be made to pay for other peoples' houses they shouldn't have bought.

Rewriting and polishing the Tarp turd today because the winners write the history books, doesn't change the hysteria and panic used in 2008 to embezzle a trillion dollars of tax money and pass it out around the world.

Think about that, American taxpayer money given to banks worldwide.
