We'll see what happens. Import taxes on China may just have them move the manufacturing to Vietnam or Malaysia, or elsewhere. That's already happened with many of their factories due to rising wage costs in China. BMW and Mercedes can just quit exporting cars here and use the factories they already have here to build all their cars. They might like that, as they're in the south, non-union and cheaper than northern union or German wages. Or, just build factories in countries not taxed by Trump.

Trump has show himself to be a very simplistic thinker. I don't think as a real estate guy he actually understands trade wars. With our high labor costs vis a vis most of the world, we're pretty sure to lose.
