Today I had a opportunity to talk to a operating engineer I know who works at (runs), Three Mile Island, here in Pennslyvania. He said there has been a outside company working on their Y-2000 problems for almost two years! He is not familiar with what has been going on but did say the money spent was astronomical.

After going through the scare, and partial meltdown that occurred I only pray that all nuclear power plants are doing their remediation well. I still remember a Uncle calling our family then, and telling us to leave, now! Just leave, and don't stop till you get to Conneticut. They had no idea what was going to happen at the plant, and did not want to order a evacuation and cause a panic.

Jeff - Including Year 2000 or y2k in the title would help the keyword search. Ram
