Sonny...I saw the Ceo on CNBC at the time of the split announcement. When he was asked by the interviewer(Bruce Francis, as I recall),why they were splitting the stock, he replied....."because we like to keep /see the stock around 35." Stephen

Personally I think CPQ will have another 3 for 2 split pretty soon after the comming split
to keep the stock between $35 to $70. Pls remember the growth of CPQ will accelerate
in the next three to four years before 2001 !!!!! This is just my 2 cent opinion !!!!
