There really was never any agreement that a safety net should be stablished for those in the 100-140% of poverty class. It would be cool if our country could afford to do that. No one wants people to have it harder than it has to be. The reality is we never had the money to do it. The law shouldn't have been passed, it was a mistake. And now it will be undone and hopefully fixed. We can't just give everyone everything. There are places in the world where you can get that if you want it, but the United States isn't that place. And there are good reasons for it.
