altair19- i didn't enlist but still had to put in 6 years of boot camp from age 5 to 11 with a very mean step father who was an army drill sergeant. i swore i'd never re-up after my mother left him. i took an oath of pacifism and was classified 1A-O after i dropped out of college in '69. i was taking the physical to be drafted the day they initiated the lottery system. my number was 239 and they only went up to 195 that year. i was happy about that but then had to watch some of my friends from school go away and never come back or come back with PTSD. i never saw any of them come back as mentally healthy as you are. you're an amazingly courageous and sane human being. it's always been a great honor for me to have you as our coach of the NNBM icebears hockey team. tanks a lot -lepolv86
