Not exactly to the point: but while I was on vacation I read a fascinating article in the IHT about Siamese twins joined at the forehead. Apparently they don't share a brain (have separate ones) but do share too many major blood vessels to have made separation possible. They're now 36. One drinks, the other doesn't.

But in this case, surely....
