Salt is not as bad as most people think. The only "real" issue with salt is that by making your body retain more water, it can raise your blood pressure. Much of what is blamed on salt intake is really due to imbalance between sodium and potassium. If you don't have high blood pressure and in general take a lot of fruit and vegies, then you don't have to worry about your salt intake.
