steve--

as far as the URLs they were in refence to comments made by BEL people about how well tests had gone and how much of their network would be ADSL deployable.

now, as for dealing with OPM, i do look at the technologies. however, i do not delude myself into thinking that any one company or technology is going to win absolutely. i have investments in WSTL, PAIR, ORCTF, did have AMTX, and recently HAYZ. that being sadi, i guess i should tell you that we are most heavily into WSTL because they were one of the few who were line code agnostic.

steve, to be honest, you have been incredibly lucky that your negativity was shored up by the problems in asia and the overall market sentiment. you see, WSTL has been beaten up because it could be. WSTL didnt sell off because of the issues you raised, it sold off because the market is full of weak knee'd people who panic easily.

as for the posts correcting you, i remember one specifically about the amount of time it takes to install an ADSL line. i think it was from bellboy or DS1, i also think they set you straight about the deployablity of ADSL.. as i said, i dont have the time to look up information you should have absorbed by now.

we keep moving in circles, and frankly i am sick of it. nothing is ever settled and we keep looping back to issues that were explained previously. pretty soon we will return to our wonderful discussion of CAP v. DMT.

good luck to all,
trey
