Yousef,
Re: "Why has Cyrix ended its relationship with IBM ... and now (rather than using NSM technology) are pursuing TSMC as a foundry ?? IBM has very good process technology ... was Cyrix only getting access to old IBM technology at high prices?? Will this also happen at TSMC??"

I'm not sure that Cyrix has totally ended it's foundry agreement with
IBM. I suspect Cyrix will get a much better agreement with TSMC.
After all, IBM took it's 1/2 of the 6x86s and dumped them under the prices that Cyrix sold them for. How do you deal with a foundry partner that can cut your throat? I don't think that will happen with TSMC. IBM gave little and took a yard.
I see what you are getting at and your are looking in the right direction...what steps is NSM taking to make selling Cyrix chips profitable. Like I said before...we need a couple of quarters to see how things work out. Right now the picture is cloudy...but there is hope looking forward.
