holistic another spelling is wholistic, takes into consideration the whole. The olive guys are not holistic as they pick and choose pieces. The interconnectedness: humans, the normal kind, run of the mil average Joe, reason in terms of tethering. That something needs an attachment. They don't reason in terms things vibrate just because other entity is vibrating. In practical terms I always explain to people non tethered connectedness to think in terms of aurorae, those phantasmagorical northern lights.
