If I understand so little abut other people, maybe you can explain to me why every state in the South had institutionalized legal segregation until 1964.

Maybe you can explain to me why the folks in the slave states fought so hard to keep segregation.

And maybe you can explain to me, why NOT one liberal (leptards as many refer to them), did not vote against the 1964 Civil Rights Act.

It was entirely conservatives that voted AGAINST the 1964 Civil Rights Act.

So explain to me again how I live in a bubble and don't understand people that are different from me.

The African-American has been abused for 400 years. And yet the people in the South never took pity on them. Even when they were forced to integrate in 1964, they resisted with all their might to retain the right to ABUSE people, even putting forth their own presidential candidate!

And now they are mostly Republicans because of Lee Atwood's racist southern strategy.

<<I doubt they will try to reenact slavery, although I'm sure they would like to-lol,, but I could see us moving back towards institutionalized segregation of one form or another.

It seems like you live in a bubble with very little understanding of people and ideas that are different than you.
