You would not have a clue what they meant anyway. You wouldn't know a 1040 from a K1. I hope you never see anything related to his taxes because it just isn't your business.

The IRS sure as hell doesn't care anything about you wanting his tax returns to be disclosed. The audit will close whenever it is scheduled to close.
