George, I would discount the MSFT takeover rumors. Don't think Malone and friends would allow MSFT to get that much of an inroad into cable boxes, especially after the deal they cut for NLV boxes. But do think it plausible that MSFT will take equity stake. This (Sony Position, MSFT rumor) is the second piece of blockbuster news in 2-3 weeks. I assume that the company is selling additional or treasury stock. I think the stock will open 19-20, perhaps higher. Think NLV is heading a lot higher than that. prediction: 20-25 by mid-February. Yippee. Sold some NLV friday, still holding other shares and Jan 17.5 calls. Larry
