One convention that was started on the AMTX thread was to put a header
on your post, such as what appears above. The idea being that the header
appears on the list of recent posts, instead of the entire 1st line of
the post, and gives others the opportunity to skip by the irrelevant stuff.

The AMTX thread was posting about 200 - 300 messages per day, but perhaps
the coco-nuts aren't that active and this isn't worth doing. Besides,
I like the people on this thread and don't mind reading each post in it's
entirety. I agree fully with TraderGreg, that the vast majority of posts on this thread
are informative and interesting, and that the amount of trash here is far
less than what appears on some other threads.

However, perhaps the majority might like to adopt such a convention, for the
benefit of those who hover their mouse over the "next" button.
