Trump, like the rest of us, watched as two hand-picked African Americans corrupted the hell out of our justice system. And he made a campaign promise that he would appoint an AG to support a law-and-order candidacy. You can always find a few blacks -- or whites -- as needed, to oppose a candidate. Or support him. None of that is reality. His record speaks well of him. And I think that is why Trump chose him. We need an AG who can be understanding when protests occur, but will not support violence and certainly not foment it, as Holder did. He looks like a reasonable choice, even if too conservative. What we need is to begin rebuilding the damage Obama has done.
