Anyone who wants to see how a movie should be made, in my opinion, should watch secret affair. It will only be on Netflix for six more days. Now that is a brilliant movie because it is a brilliant story well acted. . It has a great story from beginning to end, and the ending is just so brilliant and right on.

It is a very interesting story about enlightenment and relative morality presented by a very intelligent and humane writer.

The forbidden relationship becomes the arbiter of ethical behavior.

I think my all time favorite show from my childhood, which I'm now delighted to be watching again is "The Avengers" with characters Emma Peel who quickly replaced the Cathy Gale character and John Steed.

And of course "Mother" in the occasional episode, seen keeping cool in a pool below.

It was a lifestyle of panache, educated conversation and wit with collector cars played out defeating a new villainous plot, each time even less believable than the episode which preceded it. And the periodic twit to shows which took themselves more seriously, such as the episode titled "The Woman from Auntie" featuring assassins dressed up like old women.

Absolutely delightful mind candy. If you want tragedy or bathos, turn on the news.
