The Wisconsin synod pretty much had everyone going to hell for one reason or another, even themselves, mostly, unless they were lucky enough to die right after communion Sunday morning before they got another look at the pastor's wife's legs on the way back to their pew. 2017 is the 500 year anniversary of Luther's reformation, and some Catholics and Lutherans are actually taking the opportunity to seek common ground: huffingtonpost.com I think this is setting a good example, making an attempt to overcome all that hate that has been taught for centuries.
