I think that James Comey's locked into his position for several more years. And it's doubtful he can be fired - even though, it looks like he is being investigated for the Hillary fiasco.



My understanding is Comey has a 10 term and cannot be fired (maybe with cause).

If the new President asks him to step aside, because of various controverseries (sp)

then I think we could have a new Director of the FBI without too much difficulty.
