We, Russia and everybody else has been hacking and spying forever. Why all this phony nonsense about it? To distract what's it's really about. Just what Trump said: Look at what's in those emails. Look at what Podesta said about Hillary. Hillary was given debate questions. Dems rigged the election against Bernie. They're focusing on the messenger - not the message.

Russian hacking! Russian Hacking! That's all we hear. We, Russia and everybody else has been hacking and spying forever. Why all this phony nonsense about it? I can see the Dem's pushing it but why any our side get excited is beyond me. Man, that's a tough question, with regard to "our" side. The same people who despise all the stupidity coming from the (still) current admin - hardly ever question our role in Ukraine. They hardly ever mention the insanity of the Libyan war, and of arming "moderate" Islamists in Syria... or the reasoning for making the removal of Assad our national policy. Assad is a bad guy, but not worse than any other traditional Arab "president". He was never known to be particularly bad - until he refused to be swept away by the "Arab Spring". I'm afraid the short answer to your question would have to be - it's probably a combination of irrational, unreasoned hatreds, desires and imagery - based on profound parochialism and ignorance. They latch on to some position or other - and refuse to be confused by facts. They deal in abstractions, not realities. In other words, they don't know their butts from their elbows. I hope Trump, who is a practical man, can get a little sense into them.
