Personally I have no idea, the main problem IMHO is the messianic part of the Jewish population in Israel, led by ultra-nationalists which are as narrow minded like the arabs. There are several solutions of solving the problems with relocating those that are not historically bounded to the land but some other neighboring country must accept them. The main issue is divided in two. 1. for whatever reason many in the world believe the invention of a "Palestinian" ethnic nation which is pure hogwash. This notion must be eliminated and the truth should come out that there is not such a thing as a "Palestinian" ethnic nation - a very difficult task. 2. Islam was designed as a religion and political force that maintain that the world must be conquered and all inhabitants converted to the Islamic religion and rule. Jews and Christians have a special place in hell and should be murdered at first sight. This basic belief is difficult to uproot from the Quran. And therefore I see no simple solution except transformation of the religion in a heritage and not religious political order. To understand this philosophy one must learn how Muhammad and his disciple raised to power and the intricacies of the various Islamic sects. en.wikipedia.org is an example More so the writing of Sayyid Qutb are of great interest in anyone wanting to learn about extremism in Islam en.wikipedia.org, or the Shia theories of the 12th Imam en.wikipedia.org In a nutshell the way Islam through his numerous religious subsets or branches that exist in the ME from Morocco to Afghanistan is a dangerous situation to the world if not properly contained and guarded. There are sects that are ready for cooperation with other civilizations but they are very few.
