Gene, your term "pretty much" is maybe the right way to put it or maybe not. The fact is Obama was hobbled from day one by Repubs. That is the starting point for Putin's seeing him as wounded. Standard Czarist/Communist philosophy. They always go after leaders that are given no support by their opposition. Repubs gave Putin the go ahead and anyone that understands the Russians knows this. ALSO, Sequester hurt and limited what he could do. Under Trump this is all going away. The only way for things to go wrong is "IF" Trump hobbles Trump. I agree with a lot of Trump's spending. Again TWT "IF" Trump is the cause of his failure. He is set up for success with the wind at his back, IMHO. Let's see what he does with it.
