Hello Sonny, Things were looking pretty good but now are changing direction.

Yes, about the oil drillers, they said just a few minutes ago on CNBC that their earnings will be great.

About those cheap computers, I think there will be good and bad effects. As Eliz said, it is hard to make up the loss of cheaper products, but also there will be sales to those who would never have bought a computer in the first place. I think that the serious computer person will upgrade to a better more expensive computer. Also, for some, that will provide a good opportunity for a second or third computer to the kids or for the wife etc. I guess we will really have to see how the earnings are effected. I guess that was one thing that hurt Intel this year since they took awhile to get get involved with this cheaper computer.

Have a good one. GO INTEL.

Margaret

Sonny,

Good Morning!! Glad to see you didn't sell your ADIC. I've been trying to get through this years posts. Boy you folks were chatty this week end <gg>. Oh come on, no more football talk. :-( I quess I'll just have to answer Stonies e-mail then.

I noticed your looking at some more Merck. What about Pfizer?? Some of my friends are buying some. They have relatives and friends that work their. I can't seem to decide between the 2, maybe I should just buy a little of both. Yes Drugs are on my list for the year. My father-in-law is dabeling in gold mines. NOT ME, that just a bit too speculative for me. Plus he's got about lots more moola to play with than I do.

Good Luck Today

Take Care

Ann
