Eli? Rivers has more yds, more yds/game, more TDs and on and on, but Eli's had way better defenses and IMO, defenses win more playoffs than anything... Eli Manning actually has 2,381 more passing yards than Rivers currently: espn.com The career leader in that category between the two will probably come down to whomever retires first. I think you're right about good defenses winning more playoff games, and it's why the Patriots are going to be so tough to beat this year. They had the best points allowed per game average this season.
