Smart money seems to be selling into the rumor. Almost all of the volume has been on the downside since the gap opening. I suspect that the market makers bid up stock prior to open to get good pop, and then have sold to poeple who were peculation on rumor. This indiactes to me that the MM do not believe the rumor is true.

of Jan (Jan effect start week), is this likely a ploy?
