Otherchap,

I've not had any problems shorting YHOO through either E*Trade or Fidelity. But that was a way last week (such a long time ago!).

However, it is too late now, as you cannot find ANY shares of yahoo to short at ANY brokerage.

Try DLJ direct (www.dljdirect.com) - I opened a small short position at market open this morning through them.
