Good news for Uranium: China halts construction on 100 coal plants. Chinese regulators halted construction on 100 coal-fired power plants with a combined capacity of about 100 gigawatts. The move is an aggressive step to address horrific air pollution in the country. The government is also targeting the installation of about 130 GW of renewable energy by 2020.
