Interestingly, when Copernicus proposed his heliocentric model, the earth-centric model actually fit the available data better. The opponents, at first, had solid scientific grounds for criticizing it.

Goofy but true, post Einstein, all motion is relative so it is just as incorrect to say the earth revolves around the sun as it is to say that the sun revolves around the earth.

People made fun of Copernicus and Galileo when they suggested that the earth revolved around the sun.

Just like the skeptics of centuries past, you show your ignorance with your scornful and contemptuous descriptions of Mr. Rogers.

Are you saying that Mr. Rogers ideas are as profound as Copernicus' and Galileo's? <VBG>

On a more serious note. When you're short do you get interest on your credit balance? I don't think so but I figured I'd ask. If not, does it affect the interest you'd pay on any margin debit balances?

Thanks,
Dave

Craig:

You state:
> People made fun of Copernicus and Galileo when they suggested that the earth revolved around the sun. ... Jimmy likes to make esoteric investments before they become widely known. After everybody jumps on the bandwagon he looks to get out.

So I take it that you have used your profits from the trades you have done with COMS, and other high techs and have a considerable shares of that tea factory in Sri Lanka, the goat milking farm in Tabat, not to mention a huge number of South Korean stamps and coin that you recently purchased (and are planning to buy more)?! On a serious note and perhaps a better sound investment idea than your Mr. Rogers, I have this bridge in New York and would love to sell it. Would you be interested in buying it? And as I said I have a whole bunch of land on moon that are for sale. Believe me no one is aware of the value of real estate on moon, but I am telling you it is going to be huge hit very soon!

Anyway regardless of you not wanting to buy my bridge (and/or the lands on moon) I would love to hear of your returns from your South Korean stamps and coin investments (and/or other Rogers favorits such as that Tea factory in Sri Lanka, or investing in Zinc, etc.) by the end of this year (or heck even by the end of year 2099 if we both continue to live)!

Regards,

Addi Jamshidi
