There is NO WAY IN HELL that I am going to wade thru the preceding 200 or so posts to find out why you children are arguing over such a silly thing as smoking in a public bar! As anyone with an ounce of sense knows, California leads the nation in multi-directional irrationality. Had they wanted to come up with a law that truly addressed the concerns of the non-smoking and smoking publics, they could easily have done so. They did not, leading one to believe that the law is either a narrow-minded, punitive and largely irrelevant piece of fascist garbage or that it was designed to keep lawyers and courts in business for the next few decades. Either way, it will lead the average Californian to a deeper distrust of and disrespect for the law and for the lawmakers. NOW -- Hope y'all had a great holiday.

Well Alexa, from the little I could read of the hundred and forty posts since this one, I take it you have been dogpiled thoroughly enough. Although I'm sure I would enjoy hoping on the top of the pile :-) It hardly seems fair <gg> I will say this, your arguments were challenging and it was fun. I hope there are no hard feelings. I think it's hilarious that it took this issue to find out what you and Christine completely agree on! :-) I bet that gives you great comfort <ggg> Michael (sorry there is a devil in me tonight) (Or is it a witch??) :-)
