Respond to of 1574258 President Trump brings new era on race 6 Don Surber by Don Surber Barack Obama did something that has not been done in fifty years. He re-opened and changed the national conversation on race. Because he and his henchmen cried racism any time someone gave him so much as a dirty look, racism lost its meaning. American whites no longer had to silently endure false claims of racism. If everything is racist, then nothing is. Now, a few African-Americans are beginning to stand up to the racial bullying by liberals. President Trump is the perfect successor to eight years of Obama crying race because Trump has a clean record on race. There's Donald Trump receiving the Ellis Island Medal of Honor in 1986 alongside Rosa Parks and Muhammad Ali. There's Donald Trump with Muhammad Ali again receiving United Cerebral Palsey's Humanitarian Award in 2001 . Ali attended his wedding. There's Donald Trump receiving an award from Jesse Jackson in 1998 -- with Al Sharpton . Donald Trump's friends and acquaintances include Mike Tyson, Herschel Walker, and Don King. He reached out to Jim Brown, Steve Harvey, and Kanye West after winning the presidency. Yes, he signed a consent agreement with HUD over housing discrimination in 1973. In 44 years since then, there has been nothing to stain his record, and in fact he has worked hard on improving race relations. And his reward is to be called a racist? No, no, no. That will not do. That is the old standard. Dead. White privilege is dead too. It died with affirmative action more than 40 years ago. And slowly, a few brave black people are coming out of their closet to show their patriotism and their conservative values. The old media reaction is the same. From Media-ite :CNN analyst Marc Lamont Hill attacked a fellow panelist Monday for his work on Donald Trump‘s National Diversity Coalition, calling him a “mediocre Negro” being manipulated by Trump. “I love Steve Harvey and I have respect for Steve Harvey and I think his intentions were appropriate, but my disagreement is the way in which he’s being used by folk like Donald Trump,” Hill said. “They keep bringing up comedians and and actors athletes to represent black interests. It’s demeaning, it’s disrespectful, and it’s condescending,” he continued. “Bring some people up there with expertise Donald Trump, don’t just bring up people to entertain.” “You weren’t even there…” responded Bruce LeVell, a member of Trump’s diversity team. “Pastor Darryl Scott, Mike Cohen, they are in the process of bringing all types of people from all over the country, from all different backgrounds. Remember the diversity coalition where we reached out to all different types of people?” “Yeah, it was a bunch of mediocre Negroes being dragged in front of TV as a photo-op for Donald Trump’s exploitative campaign against black people. And you are an example of that,” Hill shot back. Speaking of mediocre, who the heck is this Hill fellow? Steve Harvey, one of " The Original Kings of Comedy ," has a daily radio show, a daily TV talk show, and a daily game show. On weekends, he hosts events like Miss Universe. While John Lewis lives off the vapors of the civil rights movement, the nation has moved on to more pressing problems: cities with violent crime rates that are triple (or more) the national rate. Roughly half the murder victims in America are black -- or to use Mister Mediocre's word "Negroes." President Trump is right. John Lewis needs to work on reducing crime. In the era of Trump, the only race in America is the human race. We no longer have time for this nonsense. We have a nation to make great again. We do not have time for name-calling by the mediocre. We already had eight years of that
