I see.

I've not done any "research" on the subject with regard to America.
I just assumed, like in many other countries of the world, that voter identification would be a logical component of an electoral system. I couldn't imagine that it would be otherwise.

NO Identification requirement for a voter in America.
In California, I'm required to state my name when I vote, that's identification. Of courses when I register I don't need ID, I think I can do it on line.
