ADDITIONAL fabs, therefore no ADDITIONAL business for AMAT.

GM,

Although in ideology China still embraces many of the Communist beliefs which have been disproven over the past 50 years, when it comes to the free market, they are pragmatic communists. They are fully cognizant of the fact that those who control information will control the world. IMHO, look for China to enter the DRAM/logic business in the coming years. This is only a hunch but from everything I hear/see regarding China they want to be participants in the 21st Century economy. This goes hand in hand with chipmaking, using Akidron's analogy of Fabs being the Steel Mills of the 21st Century.

Regards,

Brian
