I think the weakness amongst the LD carriers is a little inappropriate for reasons I've mentioned before, but that's just my feeling based on the way I think 1998 is going to develop as far the situation between the RBOC's, toll carriers and large independent "local" dialtone providers is concerned. In their last quarterly statement, LCI was realistically downplaying their efforts at local access. I really don't think it's the right thing for a primarily LD company to get into, unless they can target some profitable "niche". Regards, Dave
