Yes, there will still be some form of guaranteed issue. There are some policies that cover ASD diagnoses, but unless you're doing several modes of treatment you won't usually hit the deductible. Unless you have intensive speech therapy (often with mixed expressive/receptive disorders) and covered ABA therapies, most people don't ever get above their deductibles. Of course, in some places you can buy lower deductibles but it is expensive. Don't know anything about CA insurance though.
