nice write up. Yes we have expanded operations and bought more farm land, but done it all with cash used from profits. I personally do not believe in debt neither has my family. My father had to tell his father to quit buying land because they did not have the labor to take care of it during the war. Every generation has bought land and we now have the 5th generation buying and farming the land. I agree with you that it is time to get the US economics back healthy - it is going to be a painful process. I subscribe to Bill Fleckenstein and he is a good read on where to put your money during this process.
