Well if you read up on the WPA and CCC you will see these statements:

I do not understand what point you are arguing. I know what the WPA and CCC were. I have no issue with them. I recognize the good that they did. I've been to enough national parks to have seen some of the lasting work product for myself.

The only thing I have been questioning is how closely they fit the definition of "government as employer of last resort." Nothing in the statements you had me read speaks to that. Unless you come up with some evidence that those programs produced zero or near zero unemployment, which is what "government as employer of last resort" is about, I'm not interested in any more statements.
